Kenny Ledee was born and raised in Salinas, Puerto Rico and moved to New Jersey more than 35 years ago with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Catholic University in Ponce, Puerto Rico.  He went on to complete a Master of Science in Critical Care, at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey.  He has almost 40 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with vast knowledge in critical care and psychosocial issues.  Mr. Ledee received certification as a Professional Life Coach from the Life Coach Institute of Orange County and specializes in Developmental Life Coaching.  He also completed the 24 lecture series, ‘Mastering Stage Presence’ by Melanie M. Long, Assistant Professor of Acting and Directing at the University of Minnesota.  He is also an Independent member of the John Maxwell Team, organization that certified him as Coach, Speaker and Trainer and an active member of the John Maxwell Team mentorship program.

In 2015 Hispanic television network Telemundo interviewed him as an expert on issues that impact contestant performance during competition.  He was also interviewed by the Puerto Rico based newspaper Primera Hora regarding the impact of stage fright and glossophobia in beauty contestants and performers.  That year he was also credentialed by the Miss Universe organization and served as part of the press during the event.

Through his agency, I am Universal Life Coaching; Kenny helps clients identify obstacles that prevent them from accomplishing their desired goals.  Specially those who struggle with fear of public speaking, stage fright and stage presence.  Some of his clientele include health care providers, law enforcement agents, IT professionals, bodybuilders and most recently several beauty pageant contestants.  Participants in Miss Teen USA, Miss Puerto Rico Universe, Mister Universe and Miss Universe pageants have counted on his expertise when preparing for their interviews, public speaking and stage performances in their respective competitions. He even helps many wedding’s best men to develop their message and also coach them on the delivery of the message.

Some of his protégés have become public figures involved in politics and television personalities in their countries.  Mr. Ledee receives on going praises for his high energy, often humorous, inspirational speaking.  Clients have commended him for being compassionate yet empathetic in his approach and also for guarding their confidentiality.  He creates a learning atmosphere where client comfort is of the utmost importance.  His coaching style encourages clients to openly assess their issues and concerns, which allows them to prioritize and identify possible solutions.  His method of coaching varies from a person to person approach, to telephone and ZOOM coaching, he also leads workshops and seminars.

Mr. Ledee acknowledges his mentors John Maxwell, Roddy Galbraith and Josh Brown as the most important influences in his own development as a Coach, Public speaker and Trainer.  Mr. Ledee is an active member of various organizations including his health consultant role with the American Heart Association and is also a member of Toastmasters International.
